In my opinion, this is his best movie ever. His subdued acting was awesome and perfect. The chemistry between him and Shalini was also a perfect match. Best couple to star in tamil cinema. On top of that, Ilayaraja's amazing songs and bgm adds onto the beauty of the movie. Espicially the bgm in the climax is amazing. No words. I love VIjay's style in the song oh baby baby song and of course, we all know, ennai thalatu. Such a good movie. this is his No.1 film in my opinion and should give films like these in the future to avoid criticism.

A beautiful love story between Jeeva (Vijay) and Mini (Shalini) who belong to different castes. The movie has nothing extra ordinary, it is only the casual acting of the characters which is still etched in everyone's memories. It is supposed to be the pathbreaking movie for Illayathalapathy. This movie grips the audience to their seat till the end and finally ends with a happy note.
