Hi it's been a long time since I've sent an email. Okay here's my review of the songs:
Vanga Kadai Illai 9/10 - This is probably the pick of the album, though it reminds us of previous gana songs in Vijay films. However, on screen, this song should turn out great with Vijay's amazing dance steps.
Naam Nadanthal 6/10 - The intro the with the electric guitar is actually superb, but then it slows down with the beat and the song turns out to be a little mediocre. But the lyrics are fantastic, perfect for Vijay. Sorry guys. Vijay's intro song should be packed with energy and should be fast. The beat should be a little faster.
Siragadikum Nilavu 4/10  -  A nice start with Karthik's voice but it starts to become an average song. In my opinion, if Karthik is to sing a song, it has to be really good, but Mani has not satisfied me.
Thamizhan 6/10 - The beginning of the song seems to remind me of Shajahan's background music and the intro song of Shajahan (kadhal oru...). This song seems to be like another Puli urumudhu. This song will do well in the background.
Thanjavoora Jillakari 7/10 - This song is far better than some of the songs in the album. I think this is recycled but it's good. But I think the lyrics could have been better. They could have avoided Sumandhara Kaali, I want to make you kaali, give me my thaali ye life jaali jaali. Other than that the song is great.
Vetri Kodi 8/10 - In my opinion, this is the second best song. I like how the flute starts and how the vocals come. It will rock on the screen with the lyrics about victory and leadership.

MODERATOR NOTE : FEW NEGATIVE/DISSAPPOINTING COMMENTS COMPARISIONS HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THIS POST. Well a album can't satisfy everyone, Few many like Few may dislike it. Many people here likes the album and few like you may be dissappointed. So posting some dissappointing comments might hurt some fans here. So it's better to avoid it :)

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Manisharma combination has always churned out mega hit chartbuster albums and Vijay's latest summer attraction Sura follows the league. Peppy, vibrant, youthful and groovy, it is as good as many other Vijay film albums, but what makes is special is that it has some breezy feel good music after a few mass and heavy ones in the recent past Vijay films.
