| It is Vijay's birthday today and as usual Thalapthi and his fans have gone ahead and organized a lot of social welfare activities. At 9AM Vijay fans organised a blood donation camp at Palavakkam in the presence of Vijay. At 9.30AM Vijay gifted gold rings to children born at the Muthulakshmi Hospital in Thiruvanmiyur. At 10AM Vijay gifted gold rings to children born at the Municipal Hospital in Kodmbakkam. At 11AM Ilaya Thalapathi was at Saligramam Shoba Kalyana Mandapam offering welfare measures to under privileged people. He offered to bear the cost of higher education up to BE for 37 poor students who were plus two toppers. Similarly he offered help and certificates to 37 students in various categories. At Noon Vijay offered Annadhanam at Saligramam Kaveri School and at Chinmaya Nagar Elders Home. Directors Jayam Raja, Perarasu and Sangili Murugan took part in some events. In the evening at 6PM Thalapathi will be at Shobha Mandapam meeting fans and give certificates to 370 blood donors and 40 others who have done the social welfare activities. Vijay fans all over the state are also celebrating Vijay's birthday with usual fervor in various parts of Tamil Nadu. |
