WHAT'S IN A TITLE?
Somehow, Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay's latest offering, the remake of the Malayalam film, Bodyguard, seems to be making headlines, all the time.
First, the film was titled Kavalkaran. Soon, issues cropped up pertaining to the title and the film was renamed as Kaval Kadhal.
Now, when the film is almost on the verge of completion, the title is going to be changed yet again. The latest we hear is that Ilaiyathalapathy will finalise the title prior to the film's audio launch, which will most likely by Kavalan.
The film had earlier run into trouble because of its lead actress Asin, who was in Sri Lanka recently. Her presence in the neighbouring country had evoked a livid response from the Kollywood film fraternity, especially the Nadigar Sangam. Let's hope the film at least hits the screens without any hassles.
