Hollywood Style Stunt Sequences in VELAYUTHAM

Hollywood Style Stunt Sequences in VELAYUTHAM.  The hair-raising train fight sequence in Shankar's Enthiran turned out to be a huge hit. The sequence was shot near Pune and it was said that Superstar Rajinikanth performed the high action scenes without a body double under Peter Hein's guidance. And now, it looks like actor Vijay is following suit. Director Jayam Raja has planned a train fight scene for his upcoming film Velayudham. The scenes are being canned in Vizag and are said to be one of the highlights of the film. The film's producer Aascar Ravichandran, who enjoys a warm rela tionship with Jackie Chan, is reported to have roped in 60 of the Hollywood actor's stuntmen for this action scene.

"I want to make it the most happening fight scene in the recent times. When I contacted Jackie Chan, he was only too happy to guide me in enlisting the right kind stuntmen. The top-of-the train action sequence has been scheduled for 10 days," reveals Ravi. Vijay will fight with the baddies, played by Bollywood actors, and it will be a very realistic stunt, he adds. "You will see Vijay in a new dimension and Velayudham will take the actor to a new level in his career," asserts Ravichandran. A.S.
