Velayudham, the costliest-ever Vijay starer, has fifteen villains and thirty comedians, besides the ensemble cast of Vijay, Hansika, Genelia, Saranya Mohan, Santhanam etc. Directed by M. Raja, the unit has just returned to the city after completing a hectic schedule in Srinagar.
Almost two decades after Mani Ratnam's Roja, a Tamil film is being shot in Kashmir. Reportedly, Ilaya Thalapathy was sizzling with two hot babes Hansika and Genelia for a
song, Mulachu Moonu Ilai in the lush valley.
The main baddies from Bollywood include Sayaji Shinde, Abhimanyu Singh of Rakta Charitra fame and Vineet Kumar. Despite the fact that there are so many villains, each one is distinct and has space and specific scenes, says Raja.
The breathtaking action scenes in Velayudham by Hollywood stunt choreographer Tom Delmar will be the high point of the movie, insiders say. The movie will be an all-out entertainer for Vijay fans, vouches its producer Aascar Ravichandran.
