Happy about the grand opening witnessed by `Vettaikkaran'
The actor thanked the media baron during the meeting that took place at the latter's office for non-stop promotional activities due to which the film has become a `super hit' all over the world in just three days after its release.
Vijay was accompanied by his father and filmmaker S A Chandrasekaran. They presented a bouquet and a shawl to Kalanithi Maran. Sun Pictures chief operations officer Hansraj Saxena was also present during the meeting.
"Vettaikkaran received a grand opening only due to promotions made by Sun Pictures. I am happy about the outcome. Hence I wanted to thank Kalanithi Maran, who is instrumental behind the film's success," said Vijay.
Produced by M Balasubramaniam and B Gurunath Meiyappan for AVM Productions, the film directed by Babu Sivan hit the screens Friday last.
