When the question of 'who will be the screen partner for Vijay in Pagalavan' came up, there were many names put for consideration but Vijay is said to have opted for Hansika Motwani, the latest sensation of Kollywood. Reliable sources reveal that Vijay was much impressed with Hansika while working in Velayudham with her and hence suggested her name to the director.
