After the non-stop appreciations that are pouring in director Shankar is planning a well deserved break and will be flying to an overseas destination soon. His ten year dream 'Endhiran' has given him a new found status in Indian cinema and Shankar is enjoying every moment of it. Now after 'Endhiran' what? After returning from his holidays Shankar will start working in the south Indian remake of '3 Idiots'. The stars are finally confirmed after many speculations from media and the pre-production work has already started.

Vijay was the first one to be confirmed to play Aamir's role. After that Shankar finalised Jeeva and Siddharth to play the other two main roles. Now only the female role played by Kareena is the only one waiting for the casting.

The official announcement of the film launch is expected to happen as soon as Shankar returns from his holidays.
